Help Transfer data,media etc. to pc

Tmobile sent me a new phone same my touch and im trying to transfer all data,media etc. over. I want to save it to my pc but when I set up the file to drag and drop it erases that last file that I dragged. I also tried putting all on my SD card not enough space. Also tried backup pro and not enough online space plus I keep getting an error. HOW DO I DO THIS! Please help A.S.A.P.
Can I save all the files from my touch to a DVD-RW or put on my harddrive then restore back to my phone? The last suggestion was good about Titanium but if I root this phone it wont be covered under warranty.

There is an app called Titanium Backup that will allow you to backup your data to your sd card and then restore it from there. You will need to root your phone first for it to work and also have enough space on your card for the backup.
 
Can I save all the files,media etc. to a DVD-RW or my hard drive and then do a restore to the new phone? I cant root my phone or the warranty will void!

I'm not sure about that one, but there is a program called unlock root that will allow you to root the phone and then unroot the phone. I'm not site what media files you are trying to back up but I don't understand why you aren't able to just copy them to your pc...
