transfer email address book

I have the Droid X and I'd like to transfer my address book data on my Mac to the phone. Anyone know how to do that?

I logged into my gmail account on google.com and the only import is from other email services like yahoo. i do not see any other import function that has you browse to a file on your mac.

other than this, how is that address book data get to the phone?

can't i just transfer the info using the bluetooth and or usb connection or sync the phone to my mac?

From Mac Address Book, select all your contacts.
Go to "File - Export - vCard".
Then import the vcard file into Google Contacts.
Try to only do 50-100 at a time so if it pukes you can figure out where it happened.

Ok, that worked just fine. Now how do I get them over to my DroidX ?

Once you have them all in your Gmail account, you can just sync your Gmail contacts to your DX. Been a while since I did that, so I can't tell you the exact steps, but it does work!

Actually didn't have to do anything on the phone. I touched the Contacts app and when it opened, they were all there. Thanks for the help.
