Help Transfer files from sd card

Yes or you can just use windows explorer to copy and paste them. I have found Mediascape a bit slow at times!

ok i may be missing the point here so correct me if i'm wrong

But, no, you cannot copy photos from your SD card into Mediascape

Mediascape is an app that reads the images on your SD card so that you can display them on the phones screen, and in windows explorer mediascape has no valid file locations as it is an APK file

I misread it and assumed the poster meant MediaGo on the computer. But maybe I should have had that second cup of coffee before I started answering posts!

Perhaps lovemafone will clarify?

Well I just connected my phone to the pc via USB, mounted SD card, went into my phone via SD card, put pictures into the "picture" folder in the root of the card, then disconnected the phone, went to Mediascape, went to "photo" , hit "more" went to "My albums" selected the picture, and now its in my Mediascape. (BTW, I've also put them into "camera roll" too, and they weren't taken with the SE camera). Not sure if this is what he was referring to but it worked for me.

@ high altitude

yes thats how to get pictures onto the SD card itself - but the question was how to copy from SD card to mediascape

as i said - mediascape will automatically read pictures on the SD card

hmm, guess Im missing something. They are in my mediascape now. I just had to add them first, but now they are in there. So you think he is asking how to put them directly into Mediascape without first having to manually find them from the SD?

As long as you MOUNT then UNMOUNT the SD CARD when transferring from PC to SD then when the phone unmounts, it should index the files AUTOMATICALLY for MEDIASCAPE to find

works perfectly well that way here - no need to MANUALLY find anything - its just there in my ALBUMS section

if yours doesn't do that then i would think there's an issue somewhere
