OK, so most of my apps from my Nexus 4 were installed automatically to my Nexus 5, but I do have some apps where there are databases or settings that need to be restored manually.
I think the issue is the UMS vs MTP that the Nexus devices use. This was an issue with my Nexus 4 too.
I have no issue with my computer recognizing the Nexus 5, but I am having trouble with the apps either not creating the folders or the phone not allowing me to create the folders. I will click new folder on a Windows 7 machine and it creates the folder, but does not let me rename the folder as something, e.g., an app folder. After I type in the renamed folder and hit enter it just reverts to "New Folder.
I also have issues with the connection timing out and I need to disconnect, reconnect, and then unlock the phone.
I also have issues when transferring files through drag and drop where I just get "unspecified error."
Has anyone else had issues like this?
