Help Transfer of apps

Sgt Jiggy

Newbie
Ok last April I jumped to an iPhone 4 from a Droid X. Anyway, I had a number of paid apps: Doc's to go, RDP (remote desktop) and a few others. I have been out of the active Android scene since April of this year. Due to my job it has become necessary to keep up with and use an Android device. So I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Prior to my Droid X I had an HTC Eris, and all of my apps transfered without any issues.. I'm almost positive those apps were tied to my phone number. So, that being said does anyone know if I can get those apps back without having to pay for them again? Anyone with any experience on this?

Thanks

Apps are tied to the gmail account so as long as the devices are connected to the same account, you'll be able to download them again.

If you head to the market website, sign in with your gmail account, hit library, then apps, you'll get a list of everything you've downloaded. From there you should be able to install them on any of your devices.
