Help Transfer saved messages from PC to device (kies)

Hi all,

I just updated my 2.1 SGS to 2.2 and did a factory reset, before I did that I saved my contacts and messages to my PC via keys so I could get them back later (forgot to do calendar, gotta love syncing).

I saved my contacts back to my phone easy enough but now I want to put my messages back onto the phone but I have no idea how to do it through kies (or any other way).

Does anyone know how to do this?

I have the same problem, surely there is a way to put texts back on the phone!

Ok, it's not a complete solution to this problem but I now use sms backup and restore from the app market to create backups of texts and NOT kies which is, lets face it, an incomplete solution that seems to be becoming less complete with each release!
