I recently upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S5 from the iPhone 5S. When I would back up my phone, I did not back up to the iCloud. I backed my phone up to the computer (an iMac). How can I import my contacts and pictures onto my new Samsung Galaxy? They are not showing up in Google Contacts. Please help me out. Thank you very much.

See if you can export the iMac contacts you backed up into a file format that gmail can import. When you log into your gmail account with a computer go to import and export for a list of the file types the gmail will accept. Once you have them in gmail all should be good.

Samsung has a program called 'Smart Switch' which will transfer from almost any phone to a Samsung phone.
