Ok, this has probably been asked before, but it's late and I'm tired. So, blast me if you will for not using the Search function, but here goes nothing.
I'm trying to transfer photos and videos from my Droid DNA to my iMac. I swear I've used Android File Transfer in the past, but this time, when I plug my phone in to the computer, AFT says it can't find an Android device. I read some stuff about MTP vs. PTP, but I couldn't find an option on my phone to switch it.
I then downloaded AirDroid and have tried to transfer the files that way. No joy. I'm not sure if it's the size of what I'm trying to transfer (approximately 8.5 GB) or what, but the file shows up in my "Downloads" folder, but it never shows any download progress.
I'm so frustrated as this process used to be very simple before I got my Mac.
Please help.
P.S. If your suggestion involves changing anything on my phone, please explain it Barney-style as I'm not the most tech savvy person. Gracias.
