Transferring files to Mac computer

I recently came across a web site that described a piece of software that could be installed on a Mac computer to make transferring files a bit more automatic. This is part of the description: "On Motorola's phones, like the Droid X, there's an app that they really want you to install on your Windows or Mac system, and it makes sense to do so. It pops up whenever your Droid phone is detected."

I have searched but can't find any information on where to find that app. Wonder if anyone here can point me in the right direction?

Sounds like The Missing Sync. I think it now has wireless syncing when the phone on which the app is installed is detected.
