transferring from tablet to SD card?

My sister bought a nextbook premium 8 se tablet and downloaded her first music to it. Now she is wanting to buy an SD card to transfer this movie onto it. However, she is finding it very difficult to do this, as everything that she tries, comes back as not being able to do that. I was wondering if it was because the movie is already on her tablet? If not, could you please walk her thru the transferring process: from tablet to SD?

Also, before when she watched this movie, she could watch it everywhere. Now (since she has been trying to find out how to transfer movies), she finds that she can only PLAY the movie when there is WI FI available. Makes no sense as she had played in on the road previously. Thank you for your time!

Very strange that the movie now requires WiFi access - has she somehow transferred the it to cloud storage?

To transfer movies (or music or whatever sort of file) to the SD card, she can either get a file manager from the Play Store (I use a free one called File Manager) or she can connect the tablet to a PC via USB and use Windows Explorer (Windows Key + e).
