Transferring memory to sd card

Hi all, new here and new to android.

Just got the LG F6 (metropcs) but haven't yet opened it as I'm still debating whether to keep it.

My main concern is the lack of internal memory. If I get a micro sd card, will the apps install to it automatically? If not, is there a way to get internal transferred to the sd card?

My other concern was whether kitkat will be released for this phone, but we'll see when that happens lol

thanks and sorry for any noobish questions :D

Welcome to the forum,

If you have less internal memory, then that might be a problem if you like using a lot of apps like I do, then this might be a drawback. Most apps run on internal memory and a few of them run on SD. If it were possible to switch your SD card to be used as the internal memory, then that would work great, but that can't happen, so, most app developers are working to make almost all app to run on SD cards.

But, with the 4GB or 8GB, you can install a number of apps...but you'll need to shop around for similar apps that can run on SD. If I were you, I would keep the phone:)

I do like using a lot of apps lol. Was thinking of getting a 32gb micro sd for this but it'll be pretty much useless if the apps can't transfer there anyways.

Hmm decisions decisions...
