Just picked up my Evo from Best Buy and while it's fully charging before I phone VM to activate, I was wondering if you guys could give me some tips on how to transfer my phone contacts over to it. Also I think I read somewhere that it's better to upgrade from the $25 plan to the $35 prior to activating to aviod hassles?

Yes switch plans first.
And
In your contacts app, on your OV press menu and "Export Contacts TO SDCard" , on your evo after u insert the SDCard from ur OV go to "Import Contacts"

If you have Google sync turned on, you just need to make the switch. Log into your account and they sound appear automagically

There's an app on the phone I think it's called transfer it something like that it uses Bluetooth to transfer contracts

Yep. That's exactly what happened. once I activated and logged into my Gmail account they all popped up. Thanks :thumb:

Google Sync is easy enough. Every time you got another android phone or flash other roms, you could simply login to your google account and wala~ there's your contact.

I am seriously not a spelling nazi outside of my own posts, for myself, but I see this one sometimes, and thought I would point it out to you just so that you would know the correct word for yourself: "wala" is actually "voil
