Transferring SD to SD

What's the best way to transfer data from my old Micro SD to my new Micro SD card? I have music synced with Double Twist so I can use that for it. Otherwise the largest amount is a few gb of pictures.

I have two micro SD adapters and various cables at my disposal.

I tried installing the new Micro SD in my phone, then using a cable, and then using an adapter for the old card in the computer, then dragging files over, but it seemed to take a long time.

Ideas?

I think the fastest way is to connect both SD cards directly to a computer and use the PC to copy the files over.

If you don't have enough slots to connect both cards at the same time, then it would probably still be faster to connect one card, copy everything to the HD of the computer, then connect the new card and copy them again.
This also gives you a backup on your computer for when/if the SD card on your phone craps out. Having a backup is never a bad idea. :)
