So...I pulled the trigger on an S6 this morning. Now I'm wondering how I am going to go about transferring my contacts and so forth to the new phone. I will have to transfer my phone number from the old phone...which means terminating my contract with Virgin Mobile too my new phone. Which presumably means no phone to phone syncing (if there is such a thing).
I can send all my photos to the cloud, so they'll be safe but what about other stuff. And I suppose I'll have to reinstall SwiftKey and Whoscall but they too have user prefs which are, in the absence of new info or a solution, will be lost......
