Transferring video from Droid to PC

Help, please. I plugged in the USB cable from my Droid to my PC, selected mount but the message on my computer says to install a CD which I don't have. How do I get this video from my Droid to my PC without this CD?

Have you been able to successfully transfer other file types? Like pictures?

This is the first time I've connected my Droid to my PC so nope, haven't tried anything like this yet...
