While I am probably not going to hop on the tablet band wagon too soon... The asus Transformer seems to have a unique position.
I am personally tired of people mentioning "well a netbook is a few hundred dollars cheaper" because, if you just want a tablet you don't need the keyboard.. if you want the keyboard it is an option and a better one than other tablets have.. and I fail to see anyone griping about other tablets more or less lack of productivity options and this seems to be the lowest priced tablet when you take into account bang/buck.
However, not having one I am probably speaking a bit to soon. If I were to get a tablet I would probably end up opting for the transformer because, it would be enough to last me a day in college, seems thin/light and being modular is a + since I could type on it at school take the keyboard off at home for ebook purposes (if I chose) or hell even use it in lieu of my desktop for general studying purposes..
I was just wondering if anyone had any issues with the productivity side of the tablet.. If anyone has been typing up a document and frequently has it start lagging or if the keyboard itself had any inherent quirks I should be aware of. I've read the "professional" reviews here and there but, I always try to account for reviewers who spend some time with it.. Vs. people who actually use it day in day out for weeks at a time.
