Oh, I hadn't noticed that. My daughter has a similar one for her iPad that has a little latch mechanism - not magnets.

This is why I hope 3D printers become commonplace - I just design my own damn case...

Seems like the number of new cases (and even the stock of old cases) has dropped off lately. anyone find anything new out there?

I just received this one:

It's not without flaws, but it is the best case I've had so far - and the closest to the iPad case...

I ended up buying this. Very nicely done case. Looks like good material is used, good work put into making it.
