Help Transformer problems...

Hey guys, I'm new to these forums and could use some input. I'm on my second TF. I returned my first due to stuck pixels, quiet left speaker, and light bleed. My second still has light bleed (which isn't that big of a deal), but the left speaker is still messed up, the black bezel on the left side is slightly raised up to where I can push it down and hear it "click", and the entire screen has a sort of "snow flake pattern" on it that my first one didn't have. Should I return it to where I bought it and swap it out again hoping for a better one or contact asus and try to send it in? Whats the average turn around rate if I do send it in? Thanks for your input.

The speaker thing is software, which can not be replaced by exchange. ALL transformers have the snowflake effect, it is part of the glass. The bezel is a quality control issue and that would require swapping it out. I would go through asus instead of swapping it, because they can address your problem directly and not randomly.

One of my transformers screen is slowly dying. The pixels starting to fade on a black screen to a grey color. The whites are starting to fade from a white to a grey color. But given that current state of supply right now, and the fact that it will require a new screen, I am waiting until the beginning of next month to send it in for repair.

As for your repair, I would send it in to fix and have then clean out the dust while they are in there and see if they can seal the screen against light bleed.

Thanks for the help, I don't remember seeing the snow flake pattern on my first one, but on my second it was one of the first things I noticed. I thought it was from the plastic. I'll probably send it to asus, item really frustrating to spend so much money and to keep having problems, but I eont want to get the galaxy 10.1 due to its lack of ports.

All 4 of mine have it, when you view it from an angle you can clearly seen a dimond snowflake pattern.

There's nothing wrong with your Transformer. You can fix the speaker by rooting it and applying a fix. The bezel clicking is normal. All Transformers have a bit of light bleed. The Snowflake pattern is on every Transformer because that's the Gorilla Glass (super tough) protecting your touchscreen.

Thanks again for the responses. That puts me a little at ease, so I can finally enjoy my new toy one more thing though, do your screens feel grippy? Some parts my finger glides over smoothly while other parts kind of grip. Is this just gorilla glass?
