hey everyone i have a pretty complicated question. i want to use my phone number that is on my htc rezound but i am going to keep it powered off the whole time. i do however have an at&t phone that i have roaming capabilities on. my question is if i forward my number(htc rezound) to the at&t number while i am roaming will i see any international charges on my verizon phone come bill time? thank you very much...

From:
Calling Features: Call Forwarding

"When forwarding calls to phone numbers outside your local calling area, you'll be billed for any toll, long distance, and airtime charges incurred."

But that's not really clear for Int'l roaming on another carrier. I'd call Customer Service at (800) 922-0204 or 611 from your phone and see what they say.

You can use your phone on WiFi only while out of the country. That's what I do in Canada. Just disable all data (Settings / Battery & Data mngt / Data Delivery / uncheck all three - Background, Data roaming, and Data enabled). But it looks like the Bahamas only have GSM carriers, so there's no CDMA service anyways: https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/34626

Well I take that back, according to Verizon website there is CDMA in the Bahamas:

You're going to the Bahamas...just turn it off and leave it off. Tell people not to call you. :thumb:
