I've had my Samsung Fascinate since January 1st of this year and my deadline to return it will be approaching in a couple of weeks. I'm kind of uncertain about keeping this phone. Some of the things I like about the phone are the clarity of the screen, size of phone (pretty thin), responsiveness of some of the applications, touchscreen works well.
Some of the things I do not like about the phone are the call quality; Most of the time, when I am on a call, my voice is very distorted in the earpice. Battery life; I know this has been mentioned before but I for as little as I use my phone, the battery should last longer. I don't run app.s in the background and mainly use phone for email and calls. Yesterday, I was trying to select the icon to make a call and nothing would happen. I couldn't select any of the icons to do anything. This was the first time this has happened. I pulled the battery out and reinstalled it but it still didn't work right away. Not sure why that happened. My GPS also will not track on my position for about 3-5 minutes. I know this has also been mentioned. It always take about 3-5 minutes for the GPS to load.
I just have a feeling that if I keep it I am going to experience more of the same problems or new ones. If I did return it, I would probably go with the Droid X. Anyone care to make some suggestions? I probabaly change my mind every other day on this phone.
