Triangle in status bar

Okay so there's a triangle in my status bar....what does that mean???

It's most likely the roaming icon.

If it appears while you are not roaming, you may need to dial *228, select option #2, to update your PRL ("preferred roaming list").

I could also be a failed Market download/install. If it is toward the left of the status bar, what notification is showing in the pull down? If it is to the right side of the status bar, it is probably roaming.

If that's the icon you're talking about, it's the new icon for VZW Location Services which you can see change to just the square without the ))) if you turn VZW L.S. off in Settings/Location & Security.

very true but a lot of people have been calling it that on other boards. Turn a square on it's corner and people get confused

Yeah that thing really annoys me.

What are the benefits of using Google or vzw location services?
