Help Triumph gets hot

When I use Barnacle or tether through CM-7 and have my power cord plugged in, my triumph gets extremely hot, up to 115 to 120 degrees farenheit. Does anyone know why the triumph gets so hot running these applications?? Also, does anyone know how hot the phone can get before its dangerous?Thanks.

Because you are running the 3g radio as well as the wifi radio as well as charging at the same time. It sucks up a lot of power and will get hot. Personally if you are tethering to a laptop or something with usb ports use usb tethering it won't get as hot. If your using wifi tether unplug it or only run it for a short time or put it somewhere cooler or put a fan by it.

I made a little lean-back aluminum stand I set mine on when I'm doing something that gets it unusually warm. works great. I think I used a piece of 1"x2.5" aluminum right angle extrusion, 1/8" thick. Had to file away a little relief for the power button.

i break it down after it gets hot.. (take off the case.. the back plate and battery) then place it in the freezer for about 2 mins. with supervision. extremely cools it down and back in working condition fast.

Not a good thing to do, condensation is not good for the CPU and mainboard

I usually just take my battery cover off, takes the temp down a couple.

I don't know how you stand tethering..the speeds for me would be dial-up basically
