Triumph Vs Samsung Galaxy Reverb??

Honestly, I would go with the Reverb. They've both got the same specs, but from what I've heard, Samsung is just an all-around better company when it comes to customer service. You'll probably get a much better experience with the Reverb. :)

Reverb spec wise, but If you don't have funds and can get a triumph for 150or less compared to the 250+ Reverb then the triumph wouldn't be that bad

I don't know about customer service, but I wouldn't get the MT unless you are willing to fiddle with it to get it to where it works like it should (in other words, root & custom ROM). I can only hope that the Samsung has better quality hardware too- the MT might say Motorola, but it is a Huawei in reality, and not a great one at that. In retrospect, if the Reverb had been available at the time & I had known the hardware situation with the MT, I would have bought the Reverb hands down.

With all that being said, the MT has developed an amazing dev community, partly because it does have so many issues and partly because it is stupid easy to root. I have to say I learned more about android with the MT than I thought I ever would, which is a great thing!

I do like the looks of the MT better (I feel like more of the surface is screen), but I think the curved corners of the Reverb will make it more comfortable in the pocket (love this about my GS3).

My 2 cents'...

I actually think the Reverb is a pretty decent phone. With a faster processor than the Triumph and ICS you really can't go wrong. I might have bought the Reverb had I not already bought the Evo V. I love my Evo though so I think I made the right decision.

Nice post.
Just wanted to add that even though it's not listed, the 64gb card does seem to work in the triumph.

Now that I'm on Straight Talk ($45) I realized that most phones are over priced. You can easily get a used At&t or T-Mobile 1st Gen dual core 1GB of ram phone for less then $200 and it might have a Ice Cream Sandwich update. In my case my phone was $100 and I'm rocking Cyanogen Mod 10 AKA (Jeally Bean 4.1.1).

I haven't had the motorola triumph, but its 2.2, and everyone says that it has problems with the service, both have a front facing camera, and back camera with flash, i have the samsung galaxy reverb, and let me tell ya, it is allover, an amazing phone, coems with 4 gigs of storage(estimate) and the 1.4 gHz processor is enough to play multiple games at once with no lag, plusmany other applications. i got a benchmark score of 2177! and the price wasnt much for it off contract. the mt may have more roms and roots, but its been out, what a year? maybe 2? the samsung galaxy reverb has been out a few months, give it time and itll be just as hackable, i got up to 63fps on the reverb, all around amazing phone, id take it over the triumph, if the reverb isnt in your price range, save up, its probably the best bang for the buck.

Unless you want to root your Reverb you should be aware that the Reverb suffers the same clipboard bug that the other Samsung Galaxies do. At some point copying to the clipboard will crash the app you are currently running.

To fix I had root the phone, and delete everything in /data/clipboard/ then reboot the phone.

This is a temporary fix and I will have to do it again in the future.
