Mr. Logic Pants
Thank you. I wasn't aware of this. I installed it, and installed Lookout instead. Do you think it is necessary to change passwords and factory reset? I'm unhappy about this because I really liked their features and the remote access to the phone actually worked. It was able to find airpush apps where AVG and Lookout failed. I'm hoping to find more out about TrustGo and reinstall.
No, that's one of the beautiful parts about Android. Unless it somehow rooted you and tossed in a rootkit (very, very unlikely), you're fine.
Also, I got a response from Tango.

Hi,
Thanks for contacting support.
We have never seen this site before.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
It seems this site lets users know which applications they have tested and show that these Apps they list are secure.
They do link directly to Google Play where users can download Tango.

It appears he's correct now. The website has actually changed since I browsed it this morning, and it's pointing to the Google Market now.
Seems this is actually a legit company and a legit service.
My personal opinion, is they grabbed an old name that sort of had a reputation in IT service, and they are trying to build everything together quickly. That would explain the misstep this morning with all the false flags, and the fact that most(all?) of the broken stuff on their website this morning is now functional.
