Trouble attaching/sending pictures though Google Chat / Hangouts

Since upgrading to the Note8, sending pictures and sometimes even just messages take forever in hangouts, and text sometimes.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I thought Google dropped support for messaging through hangouts. I know I switched to using Messages last year.

Well I mean just attaching a picture.. and regular chatting. Not using sms/mms integration. Sorry, bad term on my part.

Can't help you there. I still use hangouts for some video chat, but other than the usually network lag, I haven't seen any problems. It looks like the Note 8 in particular is having some message/chatting connectivity issues across the board.

Goog have some new fangled messaging app. Works on apple but they need to download the app. I think thats where they want you to go.

Hangouts is sooooo 2015 boss...
