Help Trouble connecting S3 to PC

I'm having problems connecting my Galaxy S3 to my PC (Windows 7). It says it "USB Device not recognized." I formatted my mini SD card (Fat32) and installed the (I think) correct USB driver from the Samsung website, but none of it works. I just want to move movies from the computer to my phone. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Theres an existing thread "MTP driver issue" about this. My own solution was to disable Windows Firewall, after which my PC detected the S3 correctly, then reenable it.
