Root Trouble flashing Warm 2.2 on Dinc

Like rom manager where you could install older version of clockwork? I have tried Gnm and that didnt work. something about digest musicwidget.apk idk just stuck

HBOOT is accessed by powering off, then powering on while holding volume down. It's a white screen with colored writing. Files named PB31IMG are automatically detected and installed after selecting to do so. Look one thread down for more info on doing this.

Not sure why RA won't install your rom... If it's a signiture verificTion issue, toggling the signiture verificTion off should let it install.

wich download did you do?

reading the first post on the developers thread, he has 2 downloads listed... one for lockwork 2.x.x.x and one for 3.0.0.7 and up.

heres what is prolly the easiest course of action:

1)download an app from the market called "scary aliens android file verifier" to your phone
2)go back to the xda thread for warmtwopointtwo and dowload the 3.x version to your pc
3)relash the latest clockwork on your phone via rom manager (3.0.0.8)
4)transfer the file to your sd card via usb cable
5) run the app. press chose file. scroll down till you see the download you just transfered. long press it and chose md5 sum. compare the md5 sum generated by the app to the md5 sum listed on the xda thread for the 3.x download ([MD5Sum: 5ca34912d800a5120349a09cdf5a10b0]) they should match. this ensures that you got a clean, complete download.
6) boot into receovery however youre comfortable doing it
7)make a backup of your current rom. wipe. flash warm z. reboot :)

They dint match for me either. I took a chance and flashed it anyway. I ended up having to use clockwork 3.0.0.8 and the 3x download. Couldn't get it to flash with RA.

i had a couple of random reboots(3 or 4) in the 2 days i used it... but all in all it was a good rom. im back to cm7,tho :)
