Help Trouble Re installing Kies 3

sellerbe

Lurker
I removed Kies from my PC and then tried to re install Kies 3. I get this error:

Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid.

C:\windows\install\{88547073-C566-4895-9005..........} does anyone know how I would get rid of this so I can re-install Kies?

Not sure about your carrier, but at&t kies is plagued with issues working with the S3, web search will reveal the various issues. Many (including myself) have tried the various tricks, some work, majority don't, kies needs an overhaul, period.

I gave up on kies and ordered a midro-sd card reader from amazon for $5 and backup everything in less than a 30 seconds now.

I've noticed that Kies isn't...very...cooperative I suppose is the word?

If you're just using it to back up files, then yeah, I'd suggest a card reader like above has stated.

Or even better. Use the app AirDroid. That's how I transfer files and whatnot back and forth. No need for cables :D
