Root Trouble rooting/Flashing custom recovery Coolpad Splatter cp3636a

I am having trouble rooting/flashing a custom recovery to my coolpad splatter cp3636a 2gb ram, 16gb. it is running Nougat 7.0
All one click roots fail.(or the ones ive done so far)
Also trying to flash to a custom recovery (TWRP, CWM) have failed.
phone is running and working, however i wish to install a custom recovery and root it.
Does anyone have any help or advice?

Is there actually a working version of TWRP for the Coolpad splatter? I'm unfamiliar with the device but a TWRP recovery image has to be built specifically for a device.

That being said, are you able to unlock the bootloader on that device? Usually, the order goes something like:

Go into developer options and enable usb debugging.

Use fastboot to unlock the bootloader.

Flash custom recovery through fastboot.

Flash root binaries throiht custom recovery.

Is there a specific guide you are following that we can look at? Maybe we can figure out exactly what's hanging you up?

"Splatter" is that what it does if you drop it?

To save you wasting any more time, all so-called "one click" vulnerability exploit rooting tools will fail with Android 7.x. And AFAIK there are no custom recovery or custom ROM made for this phone.
