When I use the screen mirror option on my Galaxy S5 the picture never fits on the full screen. I tried adjusting the size of the picture on my tv but it didn't help. Does anyone know a solution?

You got big black areas on the left and right and the S5 picture is in the middle? I've seen that myself. If so, try holding the phone horizontally instead, so it's aspect ratio matches the TV, i.e. it's landscape mode rather than portrait mode. You might have to turn on auto-rotation in settings.
Unless you want to turn your TV on its side, but that's not usually practical or desirable.
