Hi, this is my first post on these forums so if this is not in the right category I am sorry. Anyway, I decided I wanted to re-root my Samsung Fascinate because some reason it "unrooted" itself somehow. I don't know how it happened, but I couldn't turn on wireless tether or any of those sort of apps. So because of this I decided to try to root it again (the first time I did it was a while ago)
Anyway to make a long story short, I was using Odin 3 and followed all the steps to rooting, without realizing that I was not connected (No yellow box on the top left) So when I saw there was 0/successes and 0/failures I closed out and unplugged my phone, hoping that it wouldn't brick..which it of course did. So now I have a phone which turns on and goes to the "Android system recovery <3e>" screen with a boat load of red errors. I can't move up or down to factory reset or anything like that.
I think I found a guide which might help this but I can not get Odin to recognize my phone with the yellow box in the top left corner. I have installed the drivers for it but I still can't get it to work. Sorry for the long story, and potential irrelevant information but I just need to get my phone to work again.
Thanks to all that help
