Help trouble with apps, help?

Hello, ive had my droid eris for about 4 days. All the apps are great but i tinkered with a task manager to save battery life and now apps will not download from the market, they simply qeue up and never download. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, does anyone know if theres an app to listen to your favorite fm radio stations?

I posted a similar request recently but no replies
I have since done an in depth search and if what I found/understand is that Flash is necessary to "listen live" from an online station and smartphones don't have Flash

would be interested in what you find too and if my understanding is right
