Odd. I use MX Player and have yet to find a file it won't play (including the few AVI files I have) so I have no idea why yours won't play. My only suggestion is to use one of the many available programs to trancode the offending files to some other format, or perhaps just to rewrite back to AVI. Sometimes an AVI file with non-standard encoding (usually to achieve super-small file size) will play fine on some devices but not at all on others, so "transcoding" it back to a more standard AVI file is often all that's needed to make it compatible with any player.
Will give it a go, it's just really annoying that it will play via usb
plugged into my tv, but the device I downloaded it to won't play it, I'd never had any issues before I updated to 4.3, will try it in my gf phone too as she is still in 4.1.2, see then if it's android related or file related.
Cheers for the suggestion
