trouble with Google talk

I'm unable to sign in to Talk, I keep getting "sign in unsuccessful invalid username or password" How do I fix this?

Welcome to the forums

Have you made sure you are using the correct sign in information? Otherwise have you also made sure you are connected to either wifi or mobile internet?

I got trouples with my Google talk app too! My Google talk. Wont sign in and it messes up my apps i can't download or upgrade my app. I never used Google talk. ...and im kind of new with smartphones

yes I have internet connection but I figured out recently that because I can't remember my password I can't sign in and in order to delete that account I will have to factory reset my phone, which I don't want to do. I have another google account but does not work with google talk, i don't know why, so I just don't bother with Talk.

hmm that is strange. Honestly you could try a factory reset your contacts should be backed up through google, your apps through google, and even your music, if you use Google Music, is backed up through google
