I'm new here and am having a few issues with the recent release of Lollipop 5.1. The most annoying of these is a problem I'm having with Ambient Display taking over Moto Display. I much preferred Moto Display over Android's Ambient display, so I turned off Ambient in the phone settings and reactivated Moto. Even though the settings remain correct, Ambient Display still takes over; for example if I put the phone to sleep, the next time I get a text or email, 70% of the time Ambient Display is showing instead of Moto Display. Occassionally Moto Display shows but it's frustrating to say the least.
I have tried wiping the system cache but am still having these troubles. Before I do a factory reset, has anyone else experienced this and resolved it?
Other issues I've had are when I go to attach a photo to a text message, the thumbnails don't appear even though the photos are there.
Also my wifi connection has become very wonky. It cuts out a lot and it doesn't seem to be the wifi, but seems to be the phone as my fiance's IPhone is always still connected when it cuts out.
Any help with any of these issues is much appreciated!
