Help Trouble with my banks App

I am having trouble with my banks App, I can not login using it.
Does anyone know if there was an update to the Android OS, I am using version 2.2. I started having the issue early last week.
 
I'm pretty sure you should have 2.3. Have you tried doing a System Update? Perhaps the App itself is bugged and it is not your phone?

Checked with my FI and they have not made any changes. Not sure why but my phone will not update to 2.3. I know other ppl who have the Incredible and the App works.

I was wondering if there was an update to the Android program. On my other phone, the Razr, i was notified about an updated.
 
I would suggest taking it into the store and asking them about it. Your phone to my understanding should have 2.3. Try going to settings, updates, and check for updates.

Problem is I know other ppl with other phones who are having the same issue, they are using other phones.
I'm thinking it is something with the Adroid version 2.2?
 
First, try to figure out why you do not have 2.3. I am pretty sure you should have it. Did you try checking for updates in the system settings menu?

Secondly, make sure the App you are using still supports your phone. I know often Apps stop supporting certain devices.

Lastly, take it into the store and try to get them to look at it. It could be something else entirely.

What error are you getting when you try to login? What app is it?
 
The message is "Failed Login". I know the App is working on newer phones because it works on the Razr.

I'm starting to think the App my not work with older phones.

If you are getting a failed login, that just usually means you are using a wrong user name and password....have you verified your login credentials by visiting their website? Usually if an app is not compatible with an android version, it won't even start up. I don't know of any apps that have abandoned support for 2.2 since it is still one of the most common android versions are current phones.
