Trouble with password reset on Andoid Forums

I went through the password reset. I managed to log in with the password which was emailed to me.
Now, I'm trying to change the temporary password to something I can more easily remember.
The screen keeps saying that I'm entering the incorrect "current password". But I make sure I'm typing exactly the same password which worked for me to log in.

The funny thing is that I tried now with the very first password I was given 5 months ago. It worked, both in the Android Forums app and in Chrome. In the past 5 months, I executed two password resets.
Never mind, works just right now.

Tap your name in the upper right corner and choose "password". That will take you to a screen asking forn your existing password and boxes to create a new password.
