Help trouble with SuperBeam

How do I troubleshoot SuperBeam? I am trying to transfer files between 2 ZTE phones, a Z813 and Z987, with SuperBeam. When I scan the QR code on the Z813 with the Z987 it makes a sound but then says that SuperBeam has stopped working. How do I fix this?
