Bought my intercept in July '10. Less than a year later the charger port is bad so July '11 I got a replacement.
With the first phone anytime it started freezing or turning off I would go to the system updates and go through firmware, profile, and prl and the problems would stop for a while. Since I got the new phone this solution has been taken away. Any time I go to the system updates as soon as I click to update my data connection is lost. Doesn't matter if it is 3G or wi-fi, the icon for either disappears and it tells me the update cannot be performed. Then as soon as I click ok on that message the data connection returns. Any suggestions?
I am NOT a tech person so I don't know what these things mean but I figured I would include them for those that do.
Android Version: 2.2.1
Kernel Version: 2.6.32.9
Build number: FROYO.DL05
