Hello,
I am new to Android. I downloaded and installed the latest Android Studio. I am comfortable with both Java Programming and C#. I have used Visual Studio with C#. Android IDEs seem to a beast of whole another complexity. I am following a tutorial from a book on UI development. Everything looks fine in the designer including the appearance of the action bar. When running in emulator using Nexus 5 - NO Action Bar, No menus that I programmed. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly.
