Trust Agents shows no useful option

I have a GSM LG G4 running Lollipop. My former phone would not require passwords when connected to my car Bl uetooth or various other devices. But when I click Trust Agents now, all I get is an entry for "Smart Lock (Google)" and an off/on toggle. How do I tell it what devices to trust?

My former phone also did not require passwords when at home -- this one sometimes does and sometimes doesn't.

What's more it goes to sleep very rapidly, sometimes even when I'm in the process of entering something, which makes the lock screen problem even more of a nuisance.

I fixed the time out -- found how to lengthen it.

and I found the missing settings: not under General, but under Display/Lock Screen/Smart Lock/Trusted Devices.

Solved. My mistake was presuming that this whole process would be under security.

Instead, it's under Settings/DISPLAY/Home & lock/Lock Screen/Smart Lock/Trusted devices.

...Only now, with a different LG G4 (my old one got damaged), there is no Home & Lock option under Display. Now what? (running Android 5.1)
