I have been trying to text my son and it keeps failing. When I look for more information it says "error code 28." I have looked online and cannot find out what that means. Help!

Hopefully I can try to find an answer to your issue.

Have you made sure your device is activated on your network? Is your son the only person you cannot send texts to?

Have you made sure that the number is correct or include country codes just to make sure.

Looks like you might be on the Sprint service, I would call them, they will send a refresh signal to your device
