Help Trying out Apex on Note LTE

I have been a Go Launcher fan for years now, but since everyone was talking about the Apex launcher's smooth performance on the ICS upgraded Androids, I decided to give the paid version of Apex a try.
First of all, I love the layout, and the customization options, and the things that are very different than Go take only a little getting used to, so I am happy with most aspects of Apex. My only drawback with it is that since I installed it, it sometimes force closes, and now some of my other apps randomly force close as well. I finally decided to do a factory reset since my phone was really acting up after trying to move some of my downloaded apps from phone to internal sd card (not sure if Apex was involved with that problem) and it has been somewhat better, but still get occasional force closes of Apex. Is this a known problem with Apex on ICS Note LTE?

I used to get a lot of force-closes. I chalked that and the random freeze-ups up to running too many screens filled with widgets or rogue, memory-leaking apps/widgets. I change my phone up pretty often. I figure that by chance I managed to get rid of one or more of the offending apps/widgets.

Okay just to update, I finally had to remove the Apex Launcher because it didn't play well with my Note at all. It screwed up the access to my files, and gallery.
It was nice, but not for the Note LTE.:(

have you changed the grid size to 5x5? i seemed to have some performance issues until i did that. other than that ive had no issues at all. perfect launcher on multiple roms, including stock.

Thanks, Kool Kat2!:)
If I decide to give it another try down the road, I will keep that in mind.
Funny thing is, it runs buttery smooth on my two Samsung Galaxy S3's, without any adjustments at all.
Go figure!

There's nothing wrong with Apex on the Note LTE. I've been using it for a while and have had zero force closes. More than likely there's another app/widget that you're using not playing well with apex.

Apex is now my default, yeah there are occasional glitches but nothing I wasn't able to work around and the pluses outweigh the minuses. A few widgets flat out refuse to work, like the clock that came with the phone for instance. I liked that clock, it was just perfect. I could see it clearly, the font was just right, the size was great, but on Apex is refuses to let it work, it always says there isn't enough room on the screen, even on a blank screen. A few widgets do that but not enough to make me switch back. I just fiddled around with other clock widgets until I found some that I like. Other than that, I did have a problem with the screen going all wonky on me but it turned out to be the fault of a bad live wallpaper that had installed malware. Unfortunately it was a paid wallpaper so I filed a complaint with Google and got a refund.
