Samsung Trying to backup contents

Just trying to backup my contacts from my Galaxy A50 onto my laptop - when I look at them on the phone, there's over 4,000, but can't find them on the laptop? I see two folders, one for the card and one for phone. Any ideas how I can find them please?

Why not use Samsung's Smart Switch? You can back up your contacts to your pc.

Or why not just save your contacts with Google? It will be saved in the cloud.
