i HAVE NEVER ROOTED ANYTHING BEFORE BUT WANT TO TRY WITH THIS PHONE. DO i NEED A BASEBAND FILE IN ADDITION TO THE ROM OR IS INCLUDED IN THE ROM.

i FOUND SOME ROOTING SOFTWARE THAT ALOWS ME TO GET INTO RECOVERY BUT DON'T HAVE A ROM TO INSTALL. ALSO DON'T KNOW HOW TO BACKUP CURRENT PHONE DRIVERS OR MAKE BACKUP OF PHONE O/S.
aNY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED AS I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THIS.

Flashing a custom rom wont change the baseband. That will stay there unless you flash another baseband. All it is is the radio firmware.
People only really write custom roms for popular, well known phones so to be honest, i doubt if youll find one :(
