Help trying to install android on a pc

wondering if anyone here has any input on installing android on a pc?? have been trying for several days to get it work but just cannot get it to boot.

any help would be great thanks.

I couldn't make the alpha version boot in Virtual Box, which should be OK, and I have previously run Android-x86 that way.

I'm running it in Windows 10

I was trying to run it in Virtual Box on a Mac. Which has usually been OK with different versions of Android-x86.
