Help trying to install Google Play Services 5

[CarsnGadgets]

I have installed the latest Google search update with the aim of being able to use "Ok Google" from any screen. (new feature!) but understand that I also have to update my Google Play services app to the latest version.

I have downloaded the apk from Android Central and saved it on my phone. However, when I run the install it gets past the "are you sure you want to install" page and the permissions but then when I click ok I get an "app not installed" error and it goes back to the previous screen...?

I have tried force closing the services app before installing the new one, but it doesnt like it.

Anyone else getting the same issue, or has successfully got it to install?

I'm not sure why it is not installing (are you sure your phone didn't automatically get updated to the latest version already?)
But the "OK google from any screeen" feature is being activated by google by account. Source:

can you share a screen print of the error? Also, check the MD5 of the file you downloaded - version 5.0.81 should have a MD5 of 0fd6e6e575394a287f52b72be4a6af3f
If you have a different MD5, it may be a bad download.
