Trying to Test Flash CS5 .apk in Emulator

GFresh

Lurker
I've been searching for answers, but nothing seems to help be able to test an .apk file on my Windows 7 Premium 64-bit machine. I'm completely new to development, I'm just a Flash guy hoping to make a Droid application for fun.

Here's what I've done so far:

- Installed Flash CS5/AIR For Droid/AIR 2
- Created Flash file, exported Droid .apk file
- Downloaded Android SKD .zip file from (Android SDK | Android Developers) and unzipped it to C:
- Downloaded JAVA
- Downloaded Eclipse
- In tools > android I created a test device, which shows me a Droid phone that I can't load files into
- In tools > emulator it brings up a black window full of text that I can't read because it disappears in 1/3 of a second
- I tried using installer_r08-windows, but it says I don't have Java JDK installed even though I do.
- I've read stuff about pointing things to a directory, but I don't see any place where I can type anything into
- I can open the .apk file in Eclipse and it turns it into a plain text jibberish document

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pretty much all I'm looking to do is take a game/activity I make in Flash and be able to test in a Droid emulator on my computer until I get a Droid device to test it on.
