Trying to view a saved map

A while back before I got my Droid RAZR Maxx HD I had saved a map in google maps. If I sign into that account within the Chrome web browser on my phone and go to maps still within the chrome browser I can find this map. I cannot see this map within the google maps app. Can anybody help with this?

The only way i can get those points to show within the app is to send a link to my email, and when i follow the link it will load the points within the app, so i have a work around. I am just trying to understand why it isn't an option within the app.

You should be able to open Maps, tap the Layers icon (bottom right, looks like a stack of papers), tap My Maps. All your saved maps should be listed there.

Got it figured out. The map apps got switched over to another account and I didn't know it. Thought I had everything synchronized but I didnt . User error. Thanks.
