TuneIn Radio problem

I've always used this app but no on my new Galaxy S4 Zoom everytime I start it when it's playing a song, it keeps popping up the Google App Store. I click back to exit, then within a few seconds it launches it again. Kind of like it's trying to bombard me with ads to buy some app.

Is this the same for everyone? If I buy the paid version will this be fixed or no need to waste my time?

Is it taking you to the actual Google Play store or something else?
There is a push notification function in the app that can display pop-ups in your notification bar (I forget what they're for), be sure you have that turned off in the settings.
I have the Pro version which does remove ads and I've never seen anything of the kind, but that may or may not solve your issue depending on what it really is.

it just takes me to the Play Store but there would be a particular app opened (forgot the name)

I bought the pro version Ill let you know how that goes

Hello there, I have the same problem, and thought I'd check before posting a question on the forums. I was wondering if it was a virus that infected my device but seeing that I'm not the only one, perhaps it IS a specific issue with TuneIn radio. I've sent them a question on this subject a week ago but they haven't replied yet. I noticed it always redirects me to the same app page ( a security/anti virus app). Please let me know if buing the pro version solves the problem, though I think it's unfair by TuneIn to use this annoying tactic because it renders the now playing page almost useless (can't access any controls fast enough before being redirected). Hope to hear back from you soon with an update. I'll let you know too if I get anywhere.

In case there was no solution, rather than succumb to TuneIn and buy the pro version (when they haven't even replied to my question), I will download Sky.FM radio station app, it has a great variety of genres and if it doesn't forcefully direct me to other sites as TuneIn does I'll keep it in place of TuneIn.
